Overview
Get an introduction to the underwater world with the ‘PADI Discover Scuba Diving’ resort course during your stay in Montego Bay. Taking the course allows you to resort dive during your visit, although it does not provide diving certification. The program includes one theory session, one pool session, and one dive, for a total experience that lasts about five hours.
What to Expect
Make your own way to the Montego Bay dive center to begin your scuba diving introductory course.
Receive one theory lesson followed by a practice session in the pool, then set out on the boat to put your new skills into action on a dive. You’ll experience the thrill of diving under close supervision of your professional diving guide.
You can do a shallow dive with this training, with a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters). The course covers basic concepts and diving skills before going out on the ocean. It’s an excellent option if you don’t have the time or dedication to become a certified PADI scuba diver or open water diver.
Your experience ends after five hours with return to the starting point in Montego Bay.

Diving 24 hours before flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving.
