Overview
Experience the magic of a phosphorescent lagoon at night. Visit the Luminous Lagoon, which comes alive with color at night due to the microscopic organisms that call the waters home. A boat transports you through the lagoon, where you can observe the outlines of fish and other objects in the water outlines in iridescent color, and even hop in for a swim.

What to Expect
This is a night tour. Your evening journey will begin with a pickup at your desired location by one of our efficient drivers at around 5:30pm. You will then be transported in one of our vehicles that is registered with JUTA and Jamaica Tourist Board. Upon your arrival at the Luminous Lagoon you will be asked pay an entrance fee and then be directed to your captain who will take you on a boat tour of this natural wonder. At night, the lagoon sparkles and glistens when disturbed, as the microscopic dinoflagellates within produce an eerie glow, reflecting the outlines of fish and other objects in the water.
The Luminous Lagoon is said to be the largest and most brilliant of the four that exist in the world, a fact that continually attracts and awes visitors and scientists from around the world. The tour of the lagoon lasts about 45 minutes, so feel free to take your swimsuits as swimming is permitted if you wish to do so. Afterwards, you will be taken back to your pickup location by vehicle, concluding your mystical voyage.
